Executive Summary The IBM GX6116 achieved its second consecutive NSS Labs Gold Award for Q2 and Q3, 2009. Since Q4 of 2008, this product has continued to demonstrate strong protection on our recurring monthly tests. In Q2, the GX6116 identified and blocked 100% of the attacks in our April, May and June 2009 test suites. Even the more difficult client-initiated attacks, which generally pose greater challenges for vendors, were thwarted. Using the same policy and signatures, the GX6116 was able to maintain throughput of 8Gbps in our real-world performance testing. Thus, we are pleased to award NSS Labs Gold for Q2 and Q3, 2009 to the IBM GX6116.
