This is awarded rarely to those products which - having already achieved the high standard required for NSS Approved - we feel are, in addition, particularly well specified in terms of advanced or unique features, and which offer outstanding value for money.

NSS Approved

This is awarded to those products which successfully complete all of the exhaustive tests to the required standard as specified in the appropriate testing criteria

All NSS Approved products should be on your shortlist.

NSS Tested

This indicates that the product has passed through a NSS Labs test suite. At NSS Labs we agree that not every product fits into our defined methodologies. Thus we provide NSS Tested for those products that wish to demonstrate specific features or performance capabilities beyond the scope of our publicly available testing tracks.
