Our distinct competencies lie in security, performance, usability and payment card industry requirements. Job Summary:
• Understand the needs of corporate IT/Security departments
• Effectively communicate the benefits and value of NSS Labs information services, reports and subscriptions to potential customers
• Build and maintain a healthy client network
• Make outbound calls to current and potential customers about our new service
• Enter and maintain detailed notes and data in CRM system
• Answer inbound emails and chat
• Generate weekly reports and forecasts for all in-progress and closed business
• Achieve/exceed quota targets
• Other research/sales duties as assigned Qualifications:
• A passion for excellence and detail
• 3-5 years selling software to corporate IT Security organizations
• Strong telephone and business communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high outbound call volume
• Strong consultative selling, time management and organization skills
• Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
• Discipline and experience with CRM systems like SugarCRM or Salesforce.com
• College degree in business or marketing, or equivalent professional experience Lab EngineerLocation: Austin, TX
Status: Part-time/Intern, with Full-Time option
Core responsibilities include supporting a large, complex network test infrastructure; building and maintaintaing systems, such as Linux and Solaris OS & Applications. Other IT and security-related tasks assigned as needed. Successful Attributes: - A problem solver who is not afraid of learning new things. Attention to detail is a must.
- Must understand basics of networking (TCP/IP).
- Must love Linux – Red Hat, Suse and other flavors
- Solaris experience is a plus, but not necessary if the applicant understands the fundamentals of Unix/Linux
- Must be familiar with installing and configuring various Apache (both static and dynamic), Bind, Sendmail, etc.
- Must have scripting knowledge
