The failure of traditional endpoint protection (EPP) suites to effectively keep pace with threats has opened the door to a new breed of endpoint threat detection, protection, and response products. In late 2016, NSS Labs surveyed cybersecurity officers (C-level or direct reports) of the Global 2000 headquartered in North America to better understand the current interest in advanced endpoint protection (AEP) products. The NSS Labs 2016 Advanced Endpoint Protection Survey yielded some interesting insights into enterprise deployment, use cases, and barriers to deployment of AEP products.

This report aims to give enterprises an understanding of the overall market, including enterprise buying behavior, perceptions, and preferences as well as drivers and inhibitors.
