NSS Labs performed an independent test of Bitdefender Security for Endpoints. The product was subjected to thorough testing at the NSS facility in Austin, Texas, based on the Endpoint Protection – Evasion and Exploit: Test Methodology v4. NSS test methodologies are available at nsslabstage.wpengine.com. This test was conducted free of charge, and NSS did not receive any compensation in return for Bitdefender’s participation. Since enterprise endpoint protection (EPP) software can have a considerable impact on the usability of a workstation, NSS measures the overall performance impact of the software agent. While more effective solutions may have a higher system impact, the reverse is not necessarily true.
