Dozens of vendors are introducing products that create secure workspaces on mobile devices or that deliver application (app) hardening features to existing apps or apps under development. This activity has created new product categories, but these markets may be short lived. Apple iOS 7 introduces some compelling new enterprise security features, including containerization, as does Samsung KNOX on the Android side. Is containerization going to remain a stand-alone market, or will it be subsumed into the mobile OS?
