The evaluation of security technology is a constantly evolving challenge. Test methodologies must evolve alongside the rapidly changing security landscape. To inform and enable the most rigorous and representative testing methods for today’s security technologies, NSS Labs conducts empirical research on the operational and environmental realities of the enterprises who deploy these products. In spring 2018, NSS Labs launched the 2018 Security Insight Survey, a composite study consisting of the Data Center Security Study and the Encryption Study.
